MULTI-ENGINE RATING

If you are working toward becoming a commercial pilot, the Multi-Engine rating is highly recommended as most commercial operators fly multi-engine aircraft.

MULTI RATING REQUIREMENTS

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

Student must be at least 17 years of age, hold a PPL or higher, and hold a valid medical.

FLYING REQUIREMENTS

There is no hour requirement set by Transport Canada (TC), however there is a TC flight test that must be passed to obtain this rating. The average student takes approximately 10-15 hours of training to be ready for this flight test. 

Please note that the actual time required is dependent on student proficiency and may be higher than the average.
