At SATC we consider ourselves more than just a flight school. We all share one passion, which is aviation. Our goal is to provide students with an experience that they will take with them forever. We provide safe, professional flight training with a lot of enthusiasm and fun. We encourage all aviation enthusiasts to stop by for a visit and share their experiences with our students and staff.
We have fuel sales, tie downs, maintenance, upholstery, avionics, etc and if we don’t do it we can find someone who does.
The Springbank airport is located 10 minutes West of Calgary and 45 minutes East of Banff in Alberta, Canada. Whether you desire a relaxing flight over scenic prairies or a mountain adventure, we have it.
Springbank airport is operated by a control tower and lies in airspace clear of Calgary International Airport, thereby avoiding a number of time-consuming traffic delays and restrictions. Being designated as controlled airspace, and among Canada’s most frequented aerodromes, allows one crucial advantage: an excellent pilot training environment for both professional and recreational enthusiasts.
Our practice area is just 10 minutes from the airport, an easy, short commute, which means you spend more time practicing the lesson than filling time getting there. Our commitment is to provide you with the safest and most enjoyable training geared specifically to your needs!
Our Commercial Pilot training program is licenced under the Private Vocational Schools Act. Therefore, we strive to maintain a high standard of training excellence. As well, our students are able to apply for financial assistance through Alberta Learning.
