Why should you pick SATC?
SATC is located 10 minutes west of Calgary city limits at Springbank Airport. Springbank airport has a state of the art tower facility, which provides pilots with the skills and experience to operate in most airspaces and control zone. We are minutes away from the Canadian Rocky Mountains and our practice area is a short flight away from the airport.
 We have multiple aircrafts to train on for different levels and skills of pilots. We have 6 Cessna 172’s that are great training airplanes, 1 Cessna 172RG which is a great transitional plane from the standard Cessna 172 and will help you get ready for training in multi-engine aircrafts, and we have our multi-engine Piper Seneca II which will help train you for your first commercial job.
SATC is a licensed Vocational school approved by Alberta Learning for achieving and maintaining a high standard of flight training. This license allows students holding a private pilots license to apply for government funding to assist in the financial commitment of their commercial pilots license. We are also certified to issue tuition tax credit receipts so that our students can claim tuition expenses on income tax returns.
